The School Day

At Byron Primary School, we believe that every day should begin positively and calmly. A prompt start helps children settle quickly, feel ready to learn and make the most of every learning opportunity.

School doors open at 8:35am each day. Children are welcomed into school by staff and begin their morning routines, ready for a successful day of learning.

We encourage all pupils to arrive on time each day. Good punctuality helps children feel settled, reduces anxiety and ensures that they do not miss important learning at the start of the day.
