At Byron Primary School, our values of Respect, Aspire and Succeed are at the heart of everything we do. They shape our learning, guide our behaviour and help us to create a positive school community where everyone can thrive.

Respect

We respect ourselves, others and the world around us. We show kindness, empathy and understanding, celebrate differences and take pride in our school and community.

Aspire

We aspire to be the very best we can be. We embrace new opportunities, challenge ourselves, aim high and believe that with effort and determination, anything is possible.

Succeed

We succeed academically, socially and personally by demonstrating resilience, perseverance and a positive attitude to learning. We learn from our experiences, overcome challenges and take pride in our achievements.

Through living these values every day, we help our children grow into confident, responsible and successful young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to the world around them.

Our mission is to encourage all children to be aspirational, to strive for excellence, whilst celebrating their uniqueness. 

We are committed to working alongside our community to provide a safe, sustainable learning environment where all children succeed.  

We are focused on using our expansive school grounds sustainably, providing an environment where students engage in outdoor learning, explore nature, and participate in ecological projects that educate them to care for the world around them, now and in the future. 

We are a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive school where we pride ourselves in providing a nurturing, ambitious experience for all.
